how much fuel does a boeing 777 use per hour

depending on engine type (GE or PW or RR) and altitude of the airport the engines at full throttle will guzzle approximately 48000 lbs of jet fuel an hour for each engine (777 has two)
The 777 burns about 2300 gallons per hour in cruise, while burning substantially more in climb. A typical flight from the West coast of the U.S. to Japan will burn about 25,000 gallons in total
