Flying Blue frequent flyer lifetime Elite status

Lifespan of Flying Blue Miles

Your frequent flyer Miles are valid for life provided you fly at least once every 20 months with KLM or Delta airlines Aircalin, or one of the SkyTeam member airlines*, on a flight with a paid ticket allowing Miles accumulation.

Flying Blue Membership are valid for life time: passengers can benefit from them as long as they want. One Mile earned today can be used tomorrow, in 1 year, in 2 years or in 20 years.

Very few airlines offer an unlimited life time span of frequent flyer Miles as do Delta and KLM. For the vast majority, Miles have a limited period of validity which cannot be extended. On some other airlines, passengers must travel more frequently to maintain the validity of their Miles.
