SQ21 flies from NewYork city EWR (in New Jersey) to south asia Singapore , while SQ22 fly return leg of the journey. EWR SIN route is the longest non-stop flights today. Take boarding time into configuration and you’re sitting in the same seat for nearly 20 hours each leg.

The flights use Airbus A340-500 (A345) airplane with 100 seats in an all-business class cabin layout.

On board, with 1-2-1 seats arrangement, business class seat is comfortable and wide. lots of legroom, seats recline to to form a fully flat bed and have adjustable footrests, a nine-inch personal screen, an adjustable headrest with side-flap "ears," and pc power ports, baby bassinet hooks are installed at some bulkheads and infants up to 12 months can stretch out in fold-up beds.

Shortly after takeoff, dinner menu is presented with three choices of entree and vegetables. Main meal include Panroasted corn-fed chicken breast in morel sauce with wild mushroom ballotine and garden vegetables
main course are Grilled tournedos of beef in rosemary jus with buttered vegetables and lyonnaise potatoes
Gindara teriyaki
Soya glaced silver cod served with selected vegetables and steamed rice
Char siew mee
Egg noodles in rich pork broth with sliced honey glaced pork, chye sim and mushroom

It’s been a couple of years since I last flew SQ and the first time with their new business class seat. When compared with other seats on the market this had much more space, I liked the width - which the popular herringbone design simply can’t compete with. As other reviews mention the seat is a little on the firm side, bed easy to convert and just enough room (I’m 5/11 so anyone much taller may find the leg room with the bed converted a little lacking). Food average – there are noticeable cut backs in terms of quality and service, The drinks were excellent but meals were not as good as what we had from other Asian airlines.

Amenity kits were skimpy with only booties and eye shades.Have to find toothbrush and razor in toilets.

I always find cabin service rushed on late night flights, which for those wanting to get off to sleep it’s fine but for others not wishing to unnecessary.

the Business Class Lounge in SA’s new Terminal 3 is among the best that I’ve ever been in – probably only surpassed by the Emirates First Class Lounge in Dubai. Gleaming marble, wonderful, comfortable seating, excellent full meals, a full selection of Macs and PCs, and newspapers and magazines from around the world.

The new TAP route will have three connections per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, operated by Embraer RJ145 airplane with a capacity of 45 passengers.

United’s P.S. – Premium Service. In the past year, United replaced its aging 3-cabin B767-200 fleet that had been the backbone of the SFO/LAX-JFK service. Air Canada ERJ-190 cabin interior

My first impression of the ERJ-190 was that it looked advanced and the cabin was clean. There was ample headroom and the seats seemed to be wide. Headroom is always a major issue on RJ’s. My other brother always takes aisle seats on the CRJ as there is no legroom on the window seats. In fact, the CRJ also has the 2-2 configuration but the ERJ’s cabin is wider, so it feels much more spacious. Each seat has its own personal TV with AVOD. The cabin was feeling like a sauna. They really heated it too much. They were already cooling it down to normal cabin temps by the time we got on.

The A318, also known as the "Mini-Airbus" or "baby bus", is the smallest member of the A320 family, and the smallest Airbus of any kind
The aircraft is six metres shorter and 14 tonnes lighter than the A320
The A318 has a passenger capacity of 109 in a two-class configuration. It is intended to replace early Boeing 737 and Douglas DC-9 models, though it is also a rival to the 737-600. Boeing also offered their 717 aircraft as a competitor, although it was suitable primarily for regional routes and did not have the A318's range capabilities
While designing the A318, Airbus included a number of technology upgrades, many of which have been integrated into the rest of the A320 family. Some are also finding their way to the A380 jumbo aircraft. These upgrades include:

A new touchscreen LCD panel at the flight attendants' stations in the cabin, to simplify access to environmental and communications controls
New cabin lighting based on LED light sources, instead of halogen and fluorescent bulbs
Electrically powered backup braking systems, improving upon the older design using reserve hydraulic pressure
The use of laser beam welding during construction, used to fasten floor stringers to the lower fuselage shell. Laser welding eliminates the need for rivets to secure the joint, which saves weight, and is faster, saving on assembly time.
Orders for the A318 have been quite slow, but about 50% better than for its direct competitor the B737-600. Airbus had received 100 orders (14 May 2007) for this model compared to 69 for the B737-600. The sales pace has been influenced by the strong sales of the Bombardier CRJ900 and Embraer E-Jets series. Notable A318 customers were Air France, 18; Frontier Airlines, 10 (+ 1 order); LAN Chile, 20 orders; and Mexicana, 10 orders. In October 2006 an A318 was successfully tested at London City Airport for steep approach compatibility, which will allow operators to serve airports constrained by noise restrictions, tall buildings or difficult terrain.[26]. British Airways has ordered two A318 aircraft to operate from London City Airport to New York Kennedy Airport. They will be configured in all business class seating.

I'd almost call this plane "cute"... It's Airbus' smallest model and not that common in Eastern North America.
